3.Blue-Coloured Baal Aadhaar Card Launched By UIDAI
Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) introduced a ‘Baal Aadhaar’ card for children below the age of five years. No biometric details will be required to get this blue-coloured Baal Aadhaar card.

7.PM Modi Launches Amma Two-Wheeler Scheme in Chennai
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Amma Two Wheeler Scheme (in Chennai). The scheme, with the objective of enhancing the livelihood of working women, aims to provide subsidised two-wheelers to women, transgenders and differently-abled persons.
8.15th Edition of BioAsia 2018 Held in Hyderabad
The 15th edition of BioAsia, the annual flagship event of the Government of Telangana, was held Hyderabad. The theme of BioAsia 2018 was “Right Time, Right Now”.
9.Tamil Nadu, Microsoft Tie-Up to Accelerate Cloud Technology Adoption

14.India Successfully Test-Fires ‘Dhanush’ Missile
India has successfully test-fired the nuclear-capable surface-to-surface ‘Dhanush’ ballistic missile with a strike range of 350 km from a naval ship off Odisha coast.

Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has introduced UAN-Aadhaar linking facility for the convenience of members using EPFO Link in UMANG Mobile App.
2.RBI Launches Ombudsman Scheme for NBFCs
The Reserve Bank of India has launched Ombudsman Scheme for non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) for redressal of complaints against them. The offices of the NBFC ombudsmen will function at four metro centres – New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai.

3.Paytm Launches Two Insurance Companies
Digital payments startup Paytm has launched two insurance companies, Paytm Life Insurance and Paytm General Insurance.
